Youth Habilitation Quinte Inc. requires Youth Worker Leaders in Belleville and Trenton to provide support to its Summer Jobs for Youth Program. These short – term contract positions of up to 5 months in duration willcommence as soon as possible. Some of these positions may be suitable for senior level students whose career goals relate to the position requirements. The successful candidates will be required to assist in the recruitment of project participants, provide assessment, training, supervision and direction to the participants and liaise with community agencies, local schools and employers to facilitate summer employment opportunities for youth 15 to 18 years of age. The successful candidates must possess excellent communication skills, knowledge of the local communities and be familiar with the provision of employment/ job development services for “disadvantaged” youth. Successful candidates must be prepared to deliver services to youth throughout Hastings County. Qualifications: A University Degree or College Diploma in a related field is preferred. A valid driver’s license is required.
